Who Was Marion "Cheez" Williams?

To understand The Marion House, you first have to know about the soul behind the name—our cousin, Marion “Cheez” Williams.

Cheez wasn’t just family. He was joy in human form. Always smiling, always laughing, always joking. His presence was gentle with a powerful positivity you couldn’t help but love. We lost Cheez far too soon. The pain of his absence still echoes in our hearts, but instead of letting grief be the final chapter, we decided to honor him by honoring his legacy. And that’s how The Marion House was born.

A Vision Rooted in Love

The Marion Home isn’t just a place to live. It’s a space built with intention—a reflection of Cheez’s positive energy. Our goal was to create a warm, safe, and welcoming shared living space for those seeking not just a roof over their heads, but a place to feel at home. We wanted every person who walked through the door to feel what we always felt around Cheez: peace, joy, and connection.

So, we got to work—pouring our hearts into every detail, from the layout of the living spaces to the color of the furniture. And through it all, we kept Cheez in mind. What would make him smile? What would he want guests to feel when they walked through the front door?

A Home Decorated with Heart

One of the most obvious tributes to Cheez can be found in the decor. If you knew him, you knew he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan—loyal to the bone, even when the season got rough (and let’s be honest, there were some rough ones).

We embraced that love and wove it into the design of The Marion House. Navy blue, the signature Cowboys color, flows throughout the house—starting at the front door with a sign proudly displaying the home’s name and a welcome mat paying homage to Cheez’s Cowboys. But it’s not just about the team. The color brings a sense of calm and cohesion to the space, grounding it with warmth and style, much like Cheez’s energy did for all of us.

The Marion House is thoughtfully designed for shared living. We’ve created an environment that balances privacy, comfort, and community. A place to call home.

Each of the four fully finished bedrooms is equipped with keyless entry locks for peace of mind. You’ll find cozy, comfortable beds with soft linens, generous storage space, and a smart TV in every room so you can unwind in your own sanctuary whenever you need. And to help every guest feel at home from day one, we provide a hygiene package that includes:

• Toothbrush & toothpaste

• Deodorant

• Lotion

• Body soap

• Toilet paper

• Nail clippers

• Comb & hair brush

• Razor & shaving cream

• Personal face towels & bath towels

• Feminine hygiene products

Shared Spaces That Bring People Together

The heart of the home lies in its shared spaces, where connection and comfort come together. All utilities are included, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, so you can stream, scroll, work, or relax without a hitch. To ensure everyone’s safety and peace of mind, security cameras are placed in the common areas and near the front and back entry. We want every occupant to feel comfortable and secure throughout their stay at The Marion House. Occupants enjoy:

• A fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from home-cooked meals to quick snacks, complete with a coffee bar, a set of cookware, dinnerware, and utensils.

• Two dining areas provide space for group meals, conversations, and casual hangouts.

• The family room offers a cozy atmosphere with a large smart TV and a handpicked collection of classic movies.

• A laundry room features a full-sized washer and dryer with complimentary laundry detergent, plus an iron and ironing board for shared use - no laundromat runs needed.
